What do we believe about Jesus?
We believe Jesus Christ is the second person of the Trinity, completely God and completely man. His birth was miraculous in that his mother Mary was a virgin at the time of His birth. He lived on this earth, died on a cross and rose from the dead so that everyone who believes in Him can be forgiven of their sins and restored to a relationship with God.

What do we believe about the Holy Spirit?
We believe the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity and as such is fully God. He reveals God to us, guides us in our everyday life and helps us to be able to live in a way that is pleasing and obedient to God.
God desires to live in us as the Holy Spirit, filling us and setting us apart (called “sanctification”) to glorify God in all our life. This filling is both a decision and a process that will take a lifetime of maturing to become complete.

What do we believe about the Bible?
The Bible is God’s words to us inspired by Him and totally accurate as they were originally written. They reveal to us the complete plan for restoring our relationship to God. They function as our guide for how we should live our lives, make decisions and function in relationship with others.

What do we believe about man?
We were created in the image of God for relationship with Him. Our relationship with God has been broken by sin, which all of us commit. The consequence of that sin is separation from God both now and for eternity. However, we can receive forgiveness of our sins and restoration of our relationship because of the death and resurrection of Christ if we choose to believe.

What do we believe about sin?
We believe that sin is disobedience to the direct commands of God. It is the failure to do what God has directed is right. Everyone has sinned. The penalty of sin is death both physically and spiritually. The only means by which sin can be erased is by the penalty being paid either by the offender or by a pure substitute (this act is called “atonement”).

What do we believe about salvation?
Salvation is the result of sinful people accepting the atoning sacrifice for their sins. It is available to anyone who accepts the offer of God to allow Jesus Christ to be their atonement. The means of accepting salvation is first, acknowledging sinfulness and turning away from sinfulness (repent) and second, believing in Jesus Christ as the one living God.

What do we believe about healing?
We believe that at the death of Christ on the cross healing became available for the sick. We are invited by God to pray for and anoint the sick person for healing.

What do we believe about the Church?
The Church is anyone who is a Christ-follower. The Church has been given the responsibility to make known to all the world the opportunity to receive restoration of relationship with God and forgiveness of sins. The Church has local expression as a group of believers uniting in order to accomplish the mission from God in a local community and to give Christ-followers a place to experience community.

What do we believe about “the second coming” of Christ?
We believe that Christ will return to earth in physical form at any moment. His return is for the purpose of ending brokenness and injustice that has come as a result of sin. He will once and for all establish His Kingdom here on earth and all who are members of the Church (called “the bride of Christ”) will be included in His Kingdom.
